Session 1: From Sci-Fi to Supply Chain: AI’s Evolution

Presented by: Reuben Mathew Philip, Clarium Health

Bio: Reuben Mathew Philip is Director of Product at Clarium, an AI-powered healthcare supply chain platform serving leading health systems across the country. He began his healthcare supply chain career at Boston Children's Hospital before joining Amazon as a Business Intelligence Engineer. Reuben was inducted into the Bellwether League's Future Famers Class of 2025 and currently serves as Chair of AHRMM's Young Professionals Advisory Council and member of the Conference Education Committee. He has presented at AHRMM, AHVAP, HIDA, and HCP conferences on topics including AI in supply chain and building resilience through automation. He holds an MS in Supply Chain Management from Northeastern University.

Session 2: How Mayo Clinic is utilizing freight data to optimize savings

Presented by: Matt Wood, Mayo Clinic and Robin Balliet, Supply Chain Solutions

Bios: Matt Wood, a leader in logistics for over 30 years, has a unique role as Sr. Director at Mayo Clinic managing both the freight strategy of Mayo Clinic and the direction of Supply Chain Solutions developed by Mayo Clinic (SCS). For the past 14 years at Mayo Clinic, Matt and his team have transformed the way his organization manages their millions in freight spend, along with all the SCS clients, using actionable freight data, strategic carrier negotiations, and best practice contracting and education. These activities are part of the reason why Mayo Clinic Supply Chain has been awarded Gartner’s 2025 “Master Class” for Healthcare Supply Chain’s.

With over two decades at Mayo Clinic, Robin Balliet is an operations leader for Supply Chain Solutions developed by Mayo Clinic (SCS). Drawing on 15 years of freight expertise and a strong background in data analysis, purchasing, and accounts payable, she partners with SCS clients and Mayo Clinic teams to reduce freight spend through tailored, data-driven strategies. Ms. Balliet consistently delivers measurable results that enhance both financial performance and operational efficiency in freight management.
